Talvez vocês não saibam, mas eu também trabalho com cinema. Esse ano lancei uma websérie sobre a Amazônia que consistia em um vídeo sem corte mostrando uma cena da Amazônia, como um vídeo-retrato. A ideia é mostrar a Amazônia de uma forma mais contemplativa.
Pode não parecer, mas é bem mais difícil que parece fazer um vídeo dessa forma, tanto que muita cena gravada teve de ser descartada por diversos motivos: gente passando na frente da câmera, música de outras bandas tocando no meio da cena, câmera não ficou estável o bastante e caiu no chão, etc.
No caso desse álbum, diferente da websérie, os sons tiveram de ser extremamente editados, mixados e cortados, pois a ideia é ter algo próximo de um "álbum-diário", onde os sons captados funcionem como um documentário sonoro do momento, o que não deixa de ser também contemplativo de sua própria maneira.
Pelos mesmos motivos anteriores, é mais difícil que se imagina gravar esse tipo de áudio, mas há um problema extra: o vento. Por isso, muitas horas de gravação foram descartadas.

You may not know, but I also work with cinema. This year I released a web series about the Amazon that consisted of a blunt video showing a scene from the Amazon, like a videoportrait. The idea is to show the Amazon in a more contemplative way.
It may not seem like it, but it is much more difficult that it seems to make a video that way, so much that a lot of the recorded scene had to be discarded for several reasons: people passing in front of the camera, music from other bands playing in the middle of the scene, the camera was not stable enough and fell to the ground, etc.
In the case of this album, unlike the webseries, the sounds had to be extremely edited, mixed and cut, as the idea is to have something close to an "album diary", where the captured sounds work as a sound documentary of the moment, which it is also contemplative in its own way.
For the same reasons as before, it is more difficult to imagine recording this type of audio, but there is an extra problem: the wind. For that reason, many hours of recording were discarded.
